PASTOR APPRECIATION

The members of Johns Chapel AME Church will host the Second Annual Pastor’s Appreciation Celebration for Rev. Willie White Jr. on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 5 p.m. in the church parking lot. The guest preacher will be Dr. J. Henry Williams, pastor of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Enterprise.  Pastor White arrived at Johns Chapel on Nov. 3, 2018. All precautions and mandates related to the COVID-19 pandemic will be observed, including the state-ordered requirement to wear masks in public. Worshippers are to remain in their cars, and maintain the prescribed minimum of six feet distance from other individuals.  Everyone is invited to drive in and share in this service and to grab a sack lunch at the end of the service. For more information, please text Nikki Mills at (334) 389-6427.

RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS

St John the Evangelist Catholic Church will host a program for anyone interested in learning the teachings of the Catholic Church.  The series starts on Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 6:30 p.m. in the Guadalupe Hall. Call (334) 464-1930 for more information. 

AGLOW MEETING

CELEBRATE RECOVERY

Enterprise Celebrate Recovery has reopened to the public. Celebrate Recovery meets every Tuesday night at Enterprise First United Methodist Church. It is a recovery group for any issue.  In order to operate as safely as possible, there will be no meals or nursery at this time. The Landing for teens will be offered as well as Celebration Place for children K-6th grade.  Seating will be limited, so please register at  efumc.com Paper registration will also be available at the door until the limit has been met. Large group will start at 6:25 p.m., but everyone will be scanned using a touchless thermometer upon arrival, so please come early. Social distancing will be practiced and wearing a mask is strongly suggested.
