The Saliba Center’s HIPPY Program is a free kindergarten readiness program available in Barbour, Coffee, Dale, Geneva, Henry and Houston counties.
HIPPY stands for “home instruction for parents of preschool youngsters.” It provides a 30-week, age appropriate curriculum designed for two-, three-, four- and five-year-old kids along with storybooks and supplies to help parents with the tools they need to prepare their preschoolers for kindergarten.
In just 10-15 minutes per day, parents can prepare their child for kindergarten and help close the academic gap. Activities include literacy, language, math, science and physical and motor skills.
All visits for the 2020-2021 academic year are currently being done virtually. Parents may enroll by phone, in person or via Facebook at Saliba Center’s HIPPY Program, 545 W. Main Street, Suite 312, Dothan, AL 36301, by phone at (334) 792-6255, or by Facebook at SalibaCentersHIPPYProgram.
