Voters across Dale County took to the polls to decide who would represent them in the March 3 primary.
 Mark Blankenship was re-elected the Dale County Commission Chairman with 3,677 votes for Blankenship and 3,620 of votes for challenger Jeff Jordan. A general election will not be held for this position due to there being no challengers for the position from other parties.
 Donald Grantham was elected the District 2 Dale County Commissioner with 768 of votes in favor of Grantham and 651 votes in favor of incumbent Steve McKinnon. A general election will not be held for this position due to there being no challengers for the position from other parties.
Residents of Dale County also made their voices heard in the race for the 2nd Congressional United States Representatives with the breakdown of votes as follows: 3,774 votes for Jeff Coleman; 1,826 for votes for Barry Moore; 1,291 votes for Jessica Taylor; 763 votes for Troy King, 159 votes for Terri Hasdorff; 128 votes for Thomas W. Brown Jr.; and, 29 votes for Bob Rogers.
In the race for United States Senator the citizens of the county cast their ballots as follows: 2,750 votes for Jeff Sessions; 1,937 votes for Tommy Tuberville; 1,698 votes for Bradley Byrne; 1,172 votes for Roy Moore; 18 votes for Ruth Page Nelson; 98 votes for Stanley Adair; and, 90 votes for Arnold Mooney.
