Alabama State Rep. Steve Clouse presented a $5,000 check to the Daleville Public Library on Oct. 24.
Clouse said he secured the “discretionary funds” to help the library with needs such as purchasing books or every day expenses.
“I think it’s (DPL) important not only because it’s located next to the high school but also serves the communities of Daleville, Level Plains and Clayhatchee,” Clouse said. “It’s just a resource for people needing internet service for either looking for jobs or trying to do some kind of research online. It’s just an integral part of this part of the county.”
