The Enterprise Wildcats (5-0) remained undefeated on Nov. 30 with a 55-46 win over the Charles Henderson Trojans at home.

The game was not only Enterprise’s home opener but also the second time the Wildcats have defeated Charles Henderson this season.

The two sides battled to a 14-14 stalemate at the end of the first quarter but the Wildcats managed to take a 26-22 lead into halftime.

Enterprise and Charles Henderson again went blow for blow in the third quarter with each team scoring 15 points, but the Wildcats hung on to a 41-37 lead going into the final period.

In the fourth quarter, Enterprise managed to pull away – outscoring the Trojans 14-9 – to secure the 55-46 victory.

Enterprise shot 47 percent from the field compare to 43 percent for Charles Henderson, while the Wildcats also outrebounded the Trojans 31-25. Enterprise also forced 15 points.

After stellar performances in the Thompson Thanksgiving Tournament, juniors Elijah Terry and Quentin Hayes once again came through for the Wildcats. Hayes scored 19 points and grabbed four rebounds, while Terry pitched in with a double-double earning 15 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Jordan Hines also scored 10 points and grabbed five rebounds. Jalen Cunningham earned four steals on defense and Josh McCray scored five points with seven rebounds and four assists.

The Lady Cats were also scheduled to face off against Charles Henderson again but COVID-19 cases inside the Lady Trojan program forced the game to be cancelled.
