The Enterprise Lady Cats picked up a big tournament win in Dothan at the inaugural Wolfpack Invitational.

Enterprise went 5-1 and earned wins over Ashford, Wicksburg, Ariton, Central Phenix City and Houston Academy on the way to being crowned tournament champions.

Enterprise knocked off Ashford 25-16 and 25-12 in the opening match before falling to Central 27-25 and 25-17 in the next round. The Lady Cats bounced back, however, with 25-9 and 25-15 wins over Wicksburg.

Enterprise then defeated Ariton 25-23 and 25-16 before getting revenge against Central with 25-17 and 25-14 wins in the semifinals. The Lady Cats knocked off Houston Academy in the championship round winning both sets 25-20 and 25-16.

Taylor Danford came up big for the Lady Cats in the tournament with seven aces, 44 kills and 40 digs. Sammie Neuwien chipped in with eight aces and 105 assists, while Hannah Chang earned 13 blocks and 23 kills. Lily Rhoades pitched in with 40 digs and seven aces, as well.

Enterprise followed up with a 3-0 win over Geneva County on Oct. 6 at home. The Lady Cats won all three sets 25-12, 25-20 and 25-12.

Neuwien led the Lady Cats with 21 assists and four aces, while Jaden Williams earned nine kills and Lily Rhoades picked up nine digs against Geneva County. Maggie Haynes also had eight digs and both Kamira Cooper and Hannah Chang had six kills each.
