With school beginning at Enterprise High School on Aug. 6, the Wildcats moved to the afternoons for fall camp.
Enterprise also put on full pads for the first time last week and continued physical practices in the hot Alabama sun.
Enterprise head coach Rick Darlington said that he’s been happy with the attitude of his team thus far in fall camp.
“I think the attitudes have been great. That first Monday was not great but I think we got better everyday,” Darlington said. “We had a good first week and then we got into shells and the offense made every mistake you could make.
“We’ll get in the film room and we’ll get it right, though. We’ll get better and the defense is really getting better, too.”
Darlington pointed to execution as a point of focus early on in fall camp.
“The effort is going to be good but we have to keep working on execution,” Darlington said. “We’re trying to do a lot of stuff so we have to keep working on executing better. We’ve been doing this all summer, so it’s not like we just started.”
