The Organized Community Action Program, Inc. (OCAP) is applying to the USDA Rural Development office for the 533 Housing Preservation Grant. The grant will provide home repairs/rehabilitation to very low-income owners whose homes were built after 1978 and living in the following counties, Bullock, Barbour, Butler, Coffee, Covington, Crenshaw, Dale, Geneva, Henry, Houston, Lowndes and Pike. Funds will be limited.
Any contractor interested in bidding on the homes may contact OCAP at 334-566-1712.
The public is invited to make written comments for the next 15 days at the OCAP Central Office at 507 N. Three Notch Street, Troy, AL., 36081. Due to COVID-19 Pandemic guidelines, we ask that all comments be made via phone.
