Dale man dead after hit-and-run

One man is dead and one is arrested after a hit-and run accident Saturday, March 21, near Ozark.

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Trooper Sgt. Drew Brooks said that Keith Snell Jr., 25, of Ozark was killed at approximately 12:30 a.m. when he was struck by a vehicle which fled the scene after the crash.

The crash occurred on Harris Road near the city limits of Ozark.

After further investigation, ALEA State Troopers along with Ozark Police Department located the vehicle and driver, Brooks said.

Anthony Edward Sullivan, 31, of Ozark, is in the Dale County Jail on $40,000 bond charged with manslaughter.

Nothing further is available as ALEA State Troopers continue to investigate.
