Dale County Schools Superintendent of Education Ben Baker, left, was sworn into his second term of elected office by Dale County Probate Judge Sharon A. Michalic Dec. 22, 2020. Baker’s mother, Jeanette, right, held the Evans family Bible in honor of her father, Emmett Evans. “He taught the greatest lessons by the life he lived,” Baker said. “He taught us to love God, love family, love your neighbors and work hard. May we all apply these principles in whatever we do. Thank you, Dale County, for allowing me to serve four more years.”
