The Wiregrass Emergency Pregnancy Service held its annual Christmas party for more than 100 children and their families Dec. 15 at Kevin Goodyear Towing in Enterprise.

“A Polar Express Christmas Pajama Party’ was made possible with the help of several donors throughout the community, including Kevin Goodyear of Goodyear Towing and Chick-fil-A’ in Enterprise.

Children were able to create Christmas ornaments, decorate Christmas cookies and visit with Santa.

WEPS is a nonprofit organization and receives no government funding. In 2018, WEPS helped more than 1,000 women with an array of services that included free pregnancy testing and ultrasounds; prenatal and parenting classes; information on pregnancy, abortion risks, and abortion alternatives; and referrals to medical care, social services, legal aid, churches and adoption services.

All services are provided at no cost to the women.
