One man has been arrested after threatening employees at Coffee County Bakery with a firearm.
According to Chief Deputy Ronnie Whitworth, Elba E911 received a call around 9 a.m. from Coffee County Bakery that an employee was inside the plant threatening employees with a firearm on Tuesday, Jan. 15.
E911 dispatched the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office to the call, according to Whitworth. He said information was obtained that the suspect had left the plant and was located at his residence on County Road 474.
The suspect, a white male, was identified as Harold Nobles, Whitworth said. Nobles was arrested and placed in the Coffee County Jail for terrorist threats.
Nobles currently remains at the Coffee County Jail. Whitworth said the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing the investigation with assistance from the 12th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
