A Brantley teenager was killed in a one-vehicle weekend accident in Coffee County.
Griffin Carter Jones, 18, was killed when the 2010 Dodge Charger he was driving left the roadway, struck two utility poles and several trees before catching fire, according to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Trooper Kevin Cook.
Jones, who was not using a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene, Cook said.
The crash occurred at about 2 a.m. Sunday, May 3, on Alabama 87, four miles north of Zion Chapel.
Cook said no further information is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
