A 13-year-old Enterprise teenager has been arrested in connection with a social media clown prank targeting Enterprise City Schools.

Enterprise Police Department’s Public Information Officer Capt. Michael Moore said Sept. 20 that EPD investigators identified the offender as a student of the Enterprise School System but due to his age, his name will not be released.

Moore said the juvenile was charged with terrorist threats after he posted on social media, “Hey Dauphin, I’m coming for you on Tuesday. Be prepared” and signed it “Crazo Klown.”

The messages were sent to create disruption in the school system and created local safety concerns, Moore said. “The posts did create a disruption, but the threats were found not to be credible.”
