One man has been arrested on drug charges following a drug bust in Elba on Thursday, May 10.
According to Coffee County Deputy Sheriff Ronnie Whitworth, investigators from the Coffee County Sheriff's Office, assisted by the Alabama Bureau of Investigations and the Houston County Sheriff's Office, executed a search warrant in the 300 Block of Tucker Avenue and the 1200 Block of Martin Luther King Drive in Elba.
Whitworth said cocaine, marijuana, pills, guns and cash were recovered.
Charles Mandrel Carpenter, 33, of Elba, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and second-degree possession of marijuana.
This matter is still under investigation, Whitworth said.
