Enterprise High School student Devon Hill won first place in two-dimensional art for the ninth- and 10th-grade division during the State Superintendents Visual Arts Exhibit held Feb. 3 in Montgomery.

According to a press release from the Alabama Department of Education, over 645 students entered the exhibit "to showcase the artistic talents of Alabama's public school students in Grades K-12."

Four EHS students' work was included in the exhibit: freshman Abbie Mason, sophomores Hill and Lyberty Hvarven and senior Maya Tapia.

Hill was honored for his first place win during the State Board of Education meeting on Thursday, Feb 9.

The annual exhibit is on display from Feb. 3-24, in the Old Supreme Court Library, State Capitol, 600 Dexter Ave., Montgomery.
