The Parent Teacher Organization at Windham Elementary in Daleville hosted its first "Color Run," Sept. 20. Students, parents, teachers and members of the community came together to take a run around the track next to the school and get covered in colored chalk. All the proceeds from the run will go toward the school's fall festival next month. Pictured is second-grader Jolena Arnold, 7, as she makes her way into the finish after a final splash of chalk.
