A single-vehicle crash at 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7, claimed the life of a Daleville man, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
James Robin Michaels, 40, was killed when the 2009 Chevrolet Impala he was operating left the roadway, striking a tree.
Michaels was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred on County Road 64 in the town of Bellwood.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
