After an investigation by the Coffee County Sheriff's Department, a man is now behind bars for the alleged molestation of a minor child.
Deputy Chief Ronnie Whitworth said a complaint was filed with the sheriff's department and upon investigation deputies arrested Christopher Carroll Lively, 44, of Jack, for second-degree sodomy, two charges of incest and two charges of second-degree rape.
Whitworth said the alleged abuse had been occurring for about four years.
The investigation is ongoing, Whitworth said, and other authorities in outside jurisdictions have been notified. More charges could be pending.
Lively remains in the Coffee County Jail under a combined $120,000 bond.
