Enterprise was filled with Christmas joy last week as the Enterprise Chamber of Commerce and the city hosted a Christmas parade and tree-lighting ceremony.

More than 100 entries made their way down Main Street Nov. 28 to celebrate the upcoming Christmas holiday.

The Enterprise Chamber announced the winners on facebook.

In the commercial division, Enterprise Pediatric Clinic received first place, The Grande Pawlace received second place and Regency Management received third place.

In the non-profit division, Enterprise First United Methodist Church received first place, Enterprise FFA received second place and Faith Independent Baptist Church received third place.

Enterprise Medical Clinic received the Spirit Award, Cub Scout Pack 77 received the Elfin Magic Award and Mimi K’s at Carlisle’s on Main received honorable mention.

The city also hosted a Christmas tree-lighting ceremony at the Enterprise City Hall Nov. 30.

The Rev. Ben Bowden from First Baptist Church of Enterprise delivered the message of “The reason for the season,” and the Hillcrest Elementary School Choir provided some musical entertainment.

Mayor William Cooper and local children lit the Christmas tree, and Santa and Mrs. Claus made a special visit.
