The Coffee County Sheriff's Department and Alabama State Troopers responded to a report of an overturned semi-truck on Coffee County Road 514 a little before 3 p.m. on Sept. 27.
The truck, driven by Terry Whitley, overturned allegedly because of a tire blowout.
Whitley was hauling more than 70,000 pounds of peanuts.
The truck landed perpendicular to Coffee County Road 514, and is currently blocking the entire roadway.
According to Sheriff Dave Sutton, the road could remain blocked until 6 p.m. or later.
No injuries were reported.
