What are your pre-teens and teenagers doing this summer while you are at work?

Do you know the parents’ names and addresses of the kids your kid hangs out with on the weekend?

When is the last time you talked to your 10-year-old about alcohol?

I don’t have teenagers; why is it important to know about the dangers of underage drinking?

If you can’t answer these questions or if you don’t know why it is important you know these things, the Coalition for a Drug Free Dale County of SpectraCare Health is offering two opportunities to join them at one of its Underage Drinking Town Hall Forums.

The first forum will be held at Daleville Community Center (also known as the Billy Adkins Community Center, located at 200 Warhawk Drive) on Tuesday, May 13.

The second forum will be held at CB&T Bank of Ozark (located at 510 Andrews Avenue) on Thursday, May 15.

Both forums will be held from 6pm-8pm.

The forum will feature a panel of speakers from various community resources, which will provide valuable information and then be on-hand to answer questions from the public about underage drinking.

Featured panel speakers include state and local law enforcement, a health professional, a local insurance agency representative and a local juvenile probation officer.

Light refreshments and door prizes will be provided also.
