High school basketball season is less than a month away and the Enterprise Wildcats and Lady Cats have officially released the schedule for the upcoming season.

EHS will start off the season against Carver at home with the girls tipping off at 5:30 and the boys at 7 p.m. on Nov. 11. Opening night will also serve as “Military Appreciation Night” with all EHS students earning free admission for wearing camouflage. Also, all active and retired military will receive free admission with military ID. The EHS student section will be wearing red, white and blue for the game and the EHS JROTC will present the flag before the game as the Encores sing the national anthem.

For the rest of November, EHS will travel to Headland on Nov. 19 and host Charles Henderson on Nov. 22. The girls travel to Fort Walton on Nov. 21 and the boys will head to Thompson to take part in the Thompson High School Thanksgiving Tournament from Nov. 25-27.

In December, Enterprise hosts Carroll on Dec. 2 and Eufaula on Dec. 6, while traveling to play Barbour County on Dec. 3 and and Charles Henderson on Dec. 13. The Lady Cats will also take part in the ESCC Campus Invitational on Dec. 7 and Dec. 9 along with hosting Holmes County on Dec. 17.

On Dec. 10, EHS hosts rival Dothan for the first time since old Dothan High and Northview merged last year.

Tournament season will start up before Christmas as the Lady Cats travel to Montgomery for the Southeast Health Pre-Christmas Tournament Dec. 18-21 and the Wildcats travel down to Daphne for the Daphne Christmas Tournament Dec. 19-21.

The Wildcats will head to Dothan for the annual Downtown Dothan Hoops Classic Dec. 26-31, while the Lady Cats will travel for the Oak Mountain Christmas Tournament Dec. 27-30.

The 2020 portion of the schedule starts on the road against Carroll before the girls host Fort Walton on Jan. 4.

Area play begins, for both the girls and boys, on Jan. 7 at Jeff Davis before hosting R.E. Lee on Jan. 10 and Jeff Davis on Jan. 14. On Jan. 17 Enterprise travels to Prattville and then heads to R.E. Lee on Jan. 21 before hosting Prattville on Jan. 24.

On Jan. 28, Enterprise heads to Eufaula and then back at Wildcat Arena. Senior Night will be celebrated in a huge matchup with Barbour County on Jan. 30.

The Wildcats close out the regular season with a home matchup against Greenville on Jan. 31.

The Area Tournament will begin on Feb. 3.
