The Enterprise freshman boys basketball team earned a 47-44 win against Barbour County Monday night in its first game since the Thanksgiving break.
The Wildcats scored the first six points in the game and used the early 6-0 run to build a 17-9 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Barbour County fought back in the second quarter, but Enterprise maintained a 24-20 advantage at the half.
The Jaguars were limited to just nine points in the third frame and EHS had a 37-29 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
Dennis Chastang led the Wildcats with 18 points. He also pulled down 10 rebounds to earn a double-double for the game. Jhaquez Clark also recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 boards. Ryan Littel scored eight points and grabbed nine rebounds. Xavier Griffin added six points, and Brock Enloe had three.
