ESCC student Heather Strickland competed at a national archery tournament recently.

Enterprise State Community College student Heather Strickland recently competed at the Archery Shooter Association Classic in Metropolis, Ill.

Strickland finished the tournament coming in second place in the Shooter of the Year Women’s Hunter Class.

In 2019, Strickland has competed at a number of state and national archery tournaments. She won first place at the 2019 ASA State Tournament in Foley in February – where she earned an archery scholarship to Lindsey Wilson College in Kentucky – and also earned a first place finish at another ASA National Tournament in Georgia in May.
