Lady Cats

The Enterprise Lady Cats split a tri-match with Auburn and Trinity last week.

After competing in a tournament in Orlando, Fla., the Enterprise Lady Cats (2-2) returned to regular season action on Sept. 5 in a tri-match with Trinity and Auburn in Auburn.

Enterprise picked up a 2-0 sweep over Trinity before falling 2-0 to Auburn.

The Lady Cats won 25-23 and 25-14 against Trinity with Ali Wiggins totaling eight kills, two blocks and seven assists in the win. Morgan Harrelson added three kills and seven digs, as well.

Enterprise fell 25-20 and 26-24 against Auburn, while Harrelson had six kills and five digs. Tatiana Bonilla added six digs and one ace, while Wiggins had 17 assists.

Enterprise JV lost to Trinity 2-0 with Trinity picking up both sets 25-10 and 25-15.

Lily Rhoades and Mikyla Kay each had two digs in the loss, while Julia Dobras had three blocks.

The JV Lady Cats also lost to Auburn 25-12 and 25-17 in two sets. Kay had three kills and five digs against Auburn, while Rhoades had seven digs.

Enterprise's followed that game up with a 3-0 sweep over Opp on Sept. 10. The Lady Cats won the three sets 26-24, 25-13 and 25-22. 

Leading Enterprise was Wiggins with 18 assists, nine digs and two aces. Harrelson had eight kills and three digs, while Addy Thompson had six kills, four aces and five digs. 

The JV Lady Cats also defeated Opp 2-1. Enterprise lost the first set 25-22 and then won the second set 25-18 and the final set 15-9. 

Holland had six aces for the JV squad, while Kay, Taniyah Pruitt and Julia Dobras had three kills each.
