ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

CDBG Project No. SM-CE-PF-19-017

Separate sealed bids for the CDBG Community Enhancement Fund Project No. SM-CE-PF-19-017 for street improvements will be received by the Town of Clayhatchee, at the offices of Praestare Engineering until 2:00 p.m. CST, Friday, June 26, 2020, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. A non-mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held at Town Hall at 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 18.

The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Form of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the following location:

Bid documents in print may be obtained at the office of Praestare Engineering, Inc., located at 148 E. Main Street, Dothan, Alabama upon advance payment of $50.00 for each set which is non-refundable. There will be no charge for electronically distributed bid sets.

The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.

Each bidder must deposit with his bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.

Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246.

No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
