Glenda Louise Jerkins, 74, of New Brockton, passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, at Wooten Chapel Assembly of God with Rev. Mike Medley officiating. Burial will follow in McGee Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory directing.
Glenda was born June 15, 1944, in Coffee County, Alabama. She was a member of Wooten Chapel Assembly of God. She was a bus driver with the Coffee County school system for 27 years and worked in the lunchroom for two years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arrie and Lillie Driggers; husband, Adrean Jerkins; son, Andy Jerkins; granddaughter, Madison Jerkins; brothers: Johnny, Jimmy, and Greg Driggers; sisters: Martha Ann Senn, Doris Hutchinson, Edna Bryant and Tammie Varner.
Survivors include her son, Jackie Jerkins of Samson; sister, Kay Curran of New Brockton; daughter-in-law, Jeannie Jerkins Wambles; grandchildren: Michael Jerkins (Angie), Dawn Ezell (Chase), Morgan Jerkins and Kylee Jerkins; great-grandchildren: Mckenlie Jerkins, Madilynn Jerkins, Michael Jerkins, Jr., and Alivia Ann Ezell; special niece, Leanna Winters; numerous nieces and nephews; special caregiver, Susan Frazier.
