Grandparents filled classrooms and lunchrooms for Grandparents’ Days. On Sept. 5, third-fifth graders celebrated the event with kindergarten, first, second and sixth grade celebrating the day on Sept. 6 at Rucker Boulevard Elementary School. During these days, grandparents were allowed to sit in class with their grandchildren and help them with work or even take them to the scholastic book fair. Students then got to enjoy having lunch with their grandparents where they could also have their picture taken together.
