“Libraries Rock” is the theme of the 2018 Enterprise Public Library Summer Reading Program which is free, open to the public and definitely more than just a reading program, according to EPL Youth Librarian Chrissy Crump.

There are a variety of activities for people of all ages, she said, encouraging those interested in participating to sign up at the EPL at 101 East Grubbs Street in downtown Enterprise.

“We have the traditional summer reading program where children can sign up to commit to read a certain amount of books in June,” Crump said. “Participants keep a log and if they make it all the way through, get a certificate at the award ceremony June 28.”

The summer program is open to all those interested, up to age 18, Crump said.

Crump encourages those with additional questions to call the library at (334) 347-2636 and she expressed “deep appreciation” to the Friends of the EPL. “We could never offer the programs to the public that we do without the support of the Friends of the Enterprise Public Library.”
