The Coffee County Sheriff's Department continued to make strides in its fight against methamphetamines within the county in the early morning hours of July 6.

CCSD Investigator Neal Bradley, the Alabama Beverage Control Board, and deputies from the department executed a search warrant at the residence of Sonya Michelle Pittman, 31, of Enterprise.

During the search, officers located containers of methamphetamine, several firearms, a small amount of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia, according to Bradley.

"The paraphernalia included digital scales meth pipes and glass smoking devices," Bradley said.

Officers took Pittman into custody and she was charged with distribution of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Pittman was transported to the Coffee County Jail where bond was later set at a total of $207,000.

Pittman received a bond amount of $200,000 for distribution of a controlled substance, $5,000 for the charge of possession of a controlled substance, and $1,000 for the charges of possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, according to jail records.

Pittman was able to make bond the same day as her arrest.

Pittman also has no prior history of drug related arrests, according to Bradley.
