The Alabama High School Athletic Association’s Central Board approved the new area alignments for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year’s spring sports seasons.
Just like in fall and winter sports, Enterprise High School will remain in Class 7A, while both Daleville and New Brockton will be jumping from Class 2A to Class 3A.
In baseball and softball, Class 7A’s Area 3 will now feature Enterprise alongside Dothan, Jeff Davis and Prattville. Over in Class 3A, New Brockton will join Goshen, Opp and Pike County in Area 4, while Daleville plays Houston Academy, Providence Christian, Slocomb and Wicksburg in Area 3.
In outdoor track, Enterprise will be a part of Section 2 along with Central-Phenix City, Dothan, Auburn, Jeff Davis, Prattville and Smiths Station. In Class 3A, New Brockton will compete in Section 1 alongside Bayville, Chickasaw, Cottage Hill Christian Academy, Excel, Flomaton, Hillcrest-Evergreen, TR Miller, Mobile-Christian, Monroe County, Opp, Slocomb and Thomasville. Daleville will compete in Class 3A, Section 2 along with Beulah, Childersburg, Dadeville, Goshen, Houston Academy, Montgomery Catholic, Pike County, Prattville Christian Academy, Providence Christian, Reeltown, Southside-Selma, Montgomery Academy, Trinity Presbyterian and Wicksburg.
Enterprise’s boys and girls tennis teams will compete in Class 7A, Section 2 against Auburn, Central-Phenix City, Dothan, Jeff Davis, Prattville and Smiths Station.
Enterprise golf will compete in Class 7A, Section 2 against Auburn, Central-Phenix City, Dothan, Jeff Davis, Prattville and Smiths Station.
In soccer, Enterprise will battle Dothan and Prattville in Class 7A, Area 3. New Brockton will battle Goshen, Houston Academy, Montgomery Catholic, Pike County, Providence Christian and Trinity Presbyterian in Class 1A-3A, Region 2.
