Police search for robbery suspect

Coffee County Sheriff's deputies are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Christmas Eve on Highway 134.

According to Chief Deputy Ronnie Whitworth, a man forcibly took money from a man at Smith Brothers Garage just West of Enterprise.

Whitworth said the suspect "strong-armed" the victim and got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

The investigation is ongoing.

In an unrelated incident, deputies are investigating the Dec. 22 burglary of a home on County Road 128.

According to reports, no one was at home when the suspect allegedly entered the victim's home stole a number of items including Christmas presents.

In other arrests, officers with the Elba Police Department Dec. 21 arrested Gregory Cole Nolan, 21, of Red Level, and charged him with second-degree theft of property, according to reports.

Deputies arrested, Dec. 19, Micky Donaldson, 52, of Enterprise, who is charged with possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Elba police also arrested, Dec. 23, Hector Rivera Figueroa, 30, of Elba, and charged him with possession of a controlled substance, according to reports.
