Crash claims the life of Dale County woman

A woman is dead after a one vehicle crash Friday, May 31, near the Echo community in Dale County.

Tanya Faye Hall, 39, was killed when the 2000 Toyota Tacoma she was operating left the roadway and struck a tree, according to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Trooper Sgt. Drew Brooks.

Brooks said the crash occurred at approximately 7:25 p.m. and Hall died at the scene as a result of the injuries sustained during the crash.

Hall was not using a seat belt, Brooks said.

The crash occurred on Alabama Highway 27 near the Echo community.

Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate, Brooks said.
