Watson family donates to WWVC

. Zack Watson, right, presents the check to WWVC Chairman Tim Laster.

The Wiregrass Wounded Veterans Committee received an $805 donation from the family of local hero Ensign Joshua Kaleb Watson.

The family has been using funds from the memorial gofundme set up in Joshua’s name to give back to various organizations. Zack Watson, Joshua’s brother, delivered the check and said a few words as to why the family is giving back.

“Kaleb cared a lot about the community so we wanted to give back to the community as best we could and make something good out of what happened,” Watson said.
