In a letter to parents and guardians Coffee County Schools Superintendent Kevin Killingsworth encouraged all parents and guardians enrolling students in New Brockton High School or New Brockton Elementary School to complete a pre-registration application.
“To help ensure that our system is prepared to support our students, it is critical that we have accurate counts of students who will be attending either of the New Brockton schools in August 2019,” Killingsworth wrote. “Our goal is to be ready for an increase in enrollment; therefore, we are encouraging students and their parents/guardians planning to enroll in New Brockton schools for the 2019-2020 school year to complete a pre-registration packet as soon as possible.”
He also encouraged parents and guardians to visit the schools prior to registering at either of the schools and noted that campus tours can be scheduled by appointment. Also, he wrote that an open house is being set for prospective students later in July, and that a date for the event will be announced when plans are finalized.
Students entering kindergarten through sixth grade should visit New Brockton Elementary School at 504 North John Street in New Brockton or call (334) 894-6152.
