Arrest made in shooting that injured two

A Daleville teen was arrested and charged by Enterprise Police Department in connection with a shooting that injured two, according to a release from EPD Public Information Officer Lt. Haglund.

Nazorian Clinton Myhand, 16, was arrested on Aug. 27 at 3:45 p.m. and charged with attempted murder and second-degree assault, according to the release.

Myhand was arrested in Daleville without incident, according to the release.

Myhand is being charged as an adult and was transported to the Dale County Jail, according to the release.

“The law is clear that when someone under age 18, but over age 16, is arrested for a class A felony, they shall be charged as an adult,” said Thirty Third Judicial Circuit Judicial Court Distrct Attorney Kirke Adams. “There is no leeway.”

The Aug. 26 shooting took place at 6:15 p.m. in the 3900 Bock of Rucker Boulevard when a suspect exited a vehicle in front of the victim’s home and fired a single shotgun shell, according to an earlier release.

Two victims were struck in the legs and abdomen as a result of the shooting, according to an earlier release.

The EPD thanked the Daleville Police Department and the U.S. Marshalls for their assistance during the arrest.
