Bond set at $100,000 for Enterprise woman charged with murder

An Enterprise woman charged with murder remains in Coffee County Jail on $100,000 bond.

Erica Latoya Alexander, 34, was arrested at 2 a.m. Sunday, July 14, according to Enterprise Police Department Public Information Officer Lt. Billy Haglund.

Haglund said that Alexander’s arrest is in connection with the shooting death of Latosha Genita Jones, 31, of Enterprise.

Haglund said that police responded at 10:39 p.m. Saturday, July 13, to reports of a shooting near the 100 block of White Street in Enterprise. “Upon arrival, EPD officers discovered a deceased female victim with a gunshot wound to the head,” Haglund said.

Alexander was transported to the Coffee County Jail after arrest, Haglund said. “This is an active investigation and no further information will be released.”
