Coffee Springs man killed in motorcycle accident

A Coffee Springs man was killed in a one-vehicle motorcycle accident Tuesday, Nov. 26.

Paul Franklin Doak, 50, was killed when he lost control of the 1993 Honda motorcycle he was operating, according to Alabama Law Enforcement Officer Trooper Sgt. Michael Simmons. “Doak was thrown from the motorcycle.”

Doak was taken to Enterprise Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash.

The accident occurred on County Road 641, eight miles south of Enterprise.  Nothing further is available as ALEA State Troopers continue to investigate.
