A man and woman from Georgia were arrested in Enterprise for drug trafficking, according to a Coffee County Sheriff’s Office press release.

Alabama Drug Enforcement Task Force Region B agents arrested Michael Phillip Davis, 34, and Chimere Malaika Styles, 29, on Aug. 29, according to the release.

During the arrest, agents recovered 4 ounces of heroin, 3 pounds of marijuana and an AK-47 pistol, according to the release.

Davis was charged with one count of trafficking heroin, one count of trafficking marijuana and one count of giving a false name and is being held on $111,000 bond, according to the arrest, according to the release.

Styles was charged with one count of trafficking heroin and one count of trafficking marijuana and is being held on $100,000 bond, according to the release.

Both are being held in the Coffee County Jail.

The ADETF-Region B is comprised of the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office, Enterprise Police Department, Houston County Sheriff’s Office, Greenville Police Department, Butler County Sheriff’s Office, Eufaula Police Department, Ozark Police Department and Henry County Sheriff’s Office, according to the release.
