Enterprise man arrested in connection with vehicle burglaries

An Enterprise man was arrested in connection with the recent vehicle burglaries that took place in multiple neighborhoods in Enterprise, according to a press release from Enterprise Police Department Public Information Officer Lt. Billy Haglund.

Makelle Johnny Blair, 20, of Enterprise, was arrested on Aug. 13 at 3 p.m. and charged with eight counts of unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle, according to the release.

The burglaries occurred on Aug. 9 in the Cotton Creek neighborhood and area of Springdale Drive, according to a previous EPD release.

Blair was transported to the Coffee County Jail and additional charges are pending, according to the release.

 The release states that EPD detectives have identified additional suspects in the vehicle burglary investigations and more arrests are pending.

The EPD thanked the Dale County Sheriff’s Office and Level Plains Police Department for their help in the investigation.
