DCS to hold open houses for school

Daleville City Schools is readying for students and another school year with its annual open houses.

Open house allows parents and students to meet teachers, find classrooms and bring some school supplies early.

At the high school level, open house is important for seventh graders who attend their first classes at the high school this year.

The seventh grade open house for Daleville High School will be held on Tuesday, July 30, from 5-6:30 p.m. Students in grades 8-12 will be able to prepare for the school year later in the week, Thursday, Aug. 1, from 5-7 p.m.

Even at Windham Elementary School, students need to find their way around.

WES will also hold an open house for students in kindergarten through sixth grade from 5-6:30 p.m. on Aug. 1. The school’s Pre-K students will have their introduction to life at school during their open house at 2 p.m. on Aug. 1.
