Dale County offices closed to the public starting March 23

In order to protect the public as well as employees, Dale County Commission Chairman Mark Blankenship has issued a directive that all county offices be closed to the public effective Monday, March 23, for a duration to be determined at a later date.

The county will still operate via on-line service, mail and drop off.

Dale County Revenue Office

The Dale County Revenue Office can be contacted by calling (334) 774-8427, emailing eoutlaw111@gmail.com or by postal mail at P.O. Box 267, Ozark, 36361.

Tags can be renewed online at https://www.dalecountyrevenue.com or by mail.

Documentation can be left with the courthouse guards and the renewal will be mailed back but do not drop off titles to be processed. Only March renewals will be accepted.

There will be no penalties on March renewals only until after April 15.

No satellite tag office locations will be open at this time.

Property payments can be paid online or mailed in with certified funds only for all delinquent taxes listed in the newspaper. All taxes must be paid before April 22, 2020.

Dale County Probate Office

The Dale County Probate Office can be contacted by calling (334) 774-2754 Ext. 2, emailing probatejudge@dalecountyal.org or by postal mail at P.O. Box 580, Ozark, 36361.

The probate office website is www.dalecountyprobate.org. Driver’s licenses can be renewed online at www.alabamainteractive.org.

Please mail documents for recording to the Dale County Probate Judge. Documents will be recorded and returned by mail. Please include a self-addressed stamped envelope.

Public records can be viewed online at www.syscononline.com/remote.

Conservation/hunting and fishing licenses can be purchased at www.outdooralabama.com

Dale County Solid Waste Department

The Dale County Solid Waste Department can be contacted at (334) 774-6212, garbagegirl26@yahoo.com or postal mail at 202 S. Highway 123, Suite A, Ozark, 36330.

Please use the drop box under the front porch or mail payments in. New service signups need to visit http://dalecountyal.org/departments/solidwaste and follow the onscreen instructions.

Dale County Sheriff’s Department

The Dale County Sheriff’s Department can be contacted at (334) 774-5111. Permits can be renewed online at www.daleso.com.

Dale County Engineering/Road and Bridge Department
