CB&T of Southeast Alabama is beginning transition to the Synovus brand name. Signage and other legacy branding at all CB&T of Southeast Alabama branches will be updated with Synovus branding by the middle of April. CB&T of Southeast Alabama is one of 26 non-Synovus branded bank divisions to complete the footprint-wide brand transition, which will conclude in June 2018.

“We’ve been part of Synovus for 30 years, and we’re proud of our reputation as a community-based and customer-focused bank in Dothan, Ozark, Enterprise, and everywhere we operate,” said Lamar Loftin, Synovus market executive for Southeast Alabama. “Adopting the Synovus name while maintaining our local, relationship-centered delivery model will increase awareness of our regional presence, our financial capabilities, and our ability to meet the needs of customers and prospects.”

\\\\\CB&T of Southeast Alabama’s origins date to the 1966 founding of Coffee County Bank and the 1968 founding of Fort Rucker National Bank. CB&T Bancshares acquired Fort Rucker National Bank in 1988 and Coffee County Bank in 1994 and renamed the two banks Community Bank and Trust of Southeast Alabama. The two acquisitions were among more than 60 that would make Synovus Georgia’s second largest bank, with $31 billion in assets and a presence in five Southeastern states. CB&T Banchshares was re-branded as Synovus in 1989.

CB&T of Southeast Alabama’s branches are located at 3680 West Main Street in Dothan, 510 Andrews Avenue in Ozark, and 901 Boll Weevil Circle in Enterprise.
